Semiya Kheer
Semiya Kheer is a traditional sweet of India. While guests are coming to home prepare in less time and with fewer ingredients. It is also good to prepare in festival time.

Required Ingredients:
Semiya: 1 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup
Milk: 2 and 1/2 cups
Ghee: 2 teaspoons
Coconut powder: 2 teaspoons
Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Salt: pinch
For Garnishing:
Cashew:5count
Almond:5count
Raisins:5count
Preparation:
Step:1
Chopped cashews and almonds. Then take a pan and add one teaspoon ghee and put it on low flame.
After that add cashews, almonds and raisins. Fry them till golden yellow colour. And then keep aside.
Step: 2
Now add remaining one teaspoon ghee in the same pan. Add semiya and roast until they turned into brown. Then take them away.
Step: 3
Now add milk into the same pan. Once milk boiled add a pinch of salt and roasted semiya.
Step: 4
Cook the semiya about 15minutes on medium flame. After that add sugar, coconut powder, cardamom powder and half of the dry fruits (roasted cashew, almonds and raisins).
Step: 5
Cook another 5minutes on medium heat. Turn of the flame.
Step: 6
Serve hot or cool. While serving to garnish with remaining dry fruits.
Note: Instead of milk you can use water also and dry fruits as your choice.
You can use dalda ( vanaspathi ) instead of ghee.
